Glory

 

John 6:38 “for I have come down from Heaven.

not to do My own will, but the Will of Him, Who sent me”

 

Who sent us into the Life

and for what purpose?

“To bring Glory to God”

is what the bible states.

But it is not too simple

to know what “Glory” means

for one first has to know The Lord

and the difference that would make.

 

Compassion must be the key?

It is available to everyone.

From living in the jungles

as in the largest cities.

“As you do unto them”

“The hungry, sick and naked”

is as doing it unto God

and that proves not too pretty.

 

Is that what God writes in every heart,

the moment one is born?

Is that the Eternal song

that has been sung throughout the ages?

From the Samaritan to the prodigal’s Dad

examples of compassion.

Is that when angels sing up high

when the gutter bound is bathed?
