Only Human

Location

Melted, swooned, sighed:

With every kiss I died.

Baby, brother, tried:

With every song I cried.

Alcohol, tobacco, fried:

With every pressure I defied.

Depression, tired, suicide?

With every question I lied.

Terrorism, War, spied:

With every cynicism I hide.

Sick of decidedly divided worldwide cyanide

poisoning - horrified modified culture is glorified homicide.

Mortified and stupefied, nations collide and deride or are occupied.

Verified terrified, I confide: Nullified angers subside when

clarified, not crucified or amplified.

Until all is rectified and unified, pride is set aside:

I refuse to be pacified.

Humanity magnified, solidified, identified, personified:

sanctified.
