Only God

2 Corinthians 7:10               New English Translation

10 For sadness, as intended by God, produces a repentance that leads to salvation, leaving no regret, but worldly sadness brings about death.

For me to decide, is that work? To move self into the picture

Dead in sin, that’s who I was, far beyond a state of coma

No sign of life was found in me, not even in my spirit

I was a smelling corps without a way to change the aroma

So it was God, Who moved. It was God, Who gave His Son

After that, it was God, and The Spirit led me toward repentance

Here was provided the conviction in what The Son had done

To become the Way, the Life, and the Truth  in a lively chance

Holiness and Godly sincerity only arrive through His Grace

The spirit underlines wisdom and understanding in merit

Daylight shines everlasting bright as darkness flees from it

God now will never leave me and teach me how faith to inherit
