one wave to say hello

that's what we've been brought down to 

and in that one wave i see every memory of us

i see it rise like a wall

and just as quick as the glance you gave me

it crashes to the ground

with a slap in the face that almost drowns me

crashing on the rocks

consuming everything in it's

disasters

you took over

and quickly left

turning into raindrops

that only fall on occasion

sooner or later you will completely

disappear

until then i wait

till i'm completely dry

only then can i walk away

trying to appreciate the old scent

that once overwhelmed me

hoping it leaves me

forever
