One Thing

If there was only one thing I could do,

I'd always choose to move in close to you.

If ever I could undo a single thing,

I'd take no time in deciding.

I know it's you that I would choose,

Even though the world never missed you.

I cared, all this time

Not able to see past the police line.

I've missed you every single day,

Ever since that one last May.

Why´d they have to take you away

When your only crime was being gay.
