One Small Thought

Location

Sometimes I'll lie awake at night thinking of everything and nothing all at once
(Another sleepless night)
And every time, a thought will cross my mind
(Never welcomed)
And I become sad
(Tears are streaming silently)
The thought, though harmless to some, is slowly breaking me down
(No glue to mend the broken)
Fear creeps in, leaving me gasping, grasping, hoping
(It never comes)
Sometimes I lie awake at night
(Every night)
And every time, a small thought will cross my mind
(A terrible thing you see)
