One Job..May Change My Life

Location

One day

so soon to say,

I'll be sitting there

on the stylist chair.

I had worked so hard

never thought i'd get ths far.

I finally had my own

my knowledge had finally grown.

My own salon,

they were all wrong.

They laughed and scoffed,

but my career took off.

The school, the hours, the stress

had led to my success.

I never thought I'd make it,

I got through all the hatred.

It took more than money.

I thought it was quite funny

how all those rich girls

now have that of a squirrel.

A dream of my career

now finally it is here.

My moment to shine

the others are blind.

My very own salon

I knew i wasn't wrong.

I never would rest

until i reached my success.

Here I sit

I never will forget.

all of those who helped me.

i knew college wasn't free.

i thank them will all my heart,

for they have done their part.

Don't let dreams fade away

because here I am today.
