One Job May Change My Life

Not many people get to have the job they love.

Some people believe this job is something they can’t achieve.

My dream job is to serve the God above,

And I am preparing to call people to believe.

My dream job would include caring for all

the destitute orphans in a foreign nation.

I would want a house big and tall

to house them and save them from starvation.

I would plant a big vegetable garden,

And I would watch the children grow.

I would teach them to ask for God’s pardon,

And by watching forgiveness, they’d see God’s love flow.

I’d teach them about Jesus and His death on the cross.

They would then hear about His victorious resurrection.

They would understand the feeling of loss,

And their hopes would rise with Jesus’ protection.

In all, these children need someone.

It doesn’t matter if I remain poor,

But they need to have a companion.

And they need to see love in grandeur.
