I searched long and hard,

Looking for a job that could help me on my way,

The one that accepted me was long and hard,

It made me want to look for another and possibly take it easy,

But I made up my mind to carry on,

Learning what life was like from those around me,

I became more determined and grew so much,

From the hardest work and the kindest people,

From the tough customers and problems that arose,

I am ready for life now,

Because of the job that changed my life.
