That one Flickering Light...

I am... a light blub in a small abandoned house, and there is an owner,
Many do not know of the light blub enigmatic origins but the owner does not care,
There is no switch for this light blub which makes it more creepy but appealing to the eye,
The owner notices whenever they watch TV under the light it is bright fluorescent yellow,
a similar colour of happiness,
and when they leave and come back at the threshold they can see when no one is under the light it is turned off completely,
When company is over it flickers, and flickers non-stop that the party must come to a stop,
the light stops flickering when the guests are all gone and the owner is alone,
The owner takes a close look at the light blub and notices a crack, it's small but begins to grow with each flicker,
music makes it dim as if it's bored to hear any tune even if it's joyous,
The owner deals with it,
the electrical bills pile but the owner does not care,
they want to fix this light and find out a solution to help stop its flickers,
but it keeps flickering and flick-er-ing, flick-er...
and then the light blows,
there is no light from that blub for days and sometimes weeks if it gets too bad,
then the flickers start but they're worse,
the light that laminates the guests is tense and heavy as if it light blub can hate,
The owner stares at the light and thinks of millions of theories for what is wrong with the light but not one can be correct,
The owner stands under the light and feels warmth, a nice, loving warmth,
The owner puts an inanimate object under the light and it flickers,
The object is warm but a warmth of acceptance,
Flickers get bad to worse,
The owner seems to want to give up,
flicker, flicker, flicker, flicker, black,
Don't you love this light blub?,
There is a flickering one right in your own house....
