One Day...

One day...
One day you wake up;
You open your eyes.
Everything blurs;
Everything turns black and white.
Ash surrounds your senses;
All you feel is numb,
Numb pain,
Like a sharp dagger is stabbing your heart
Yet you can't feel a thing.
The anesthesia is too powerful.
You no longer desire to feel your heart beat
or see your breath in the cold winter air.
You take a deep breath and close your eyes once more.
Realization hits;
You finally have your 10.
