One Day

One day you will be kissed for the first time by someone who didn’t deserve to feel your lips

One day you will held by someone who didn’t deserve to touch your fingertips

Believe me,

It will feel incomplete

Because if the hearts aren’t in sync

so will everything else

Your lips will jam into each other like the time you used your car key to open your front door

Your hands will close tightly together as if the other is trying to escape

And most of the time

It’s because it probably is

It will be clammy and sweaty

As if your body is physically trying to tell to you slip away from their skin

Believe your senses

Believe your body

Do not rush

Because one day

Everything will be right.
