Ode to the Wind

Sun, 06/28/2015 - 14:15 -- hufsan

Oh, the saccharine exhale of the skies

Breaking through the denseness of stagnant air

Lifting up spirits and drowning out destitute cries

Claiming the heavens as her lair

Reigns the frivolous delight known as wind

Galvanizing the innocent and encouraging the sinned

Strands of scintillating hair uplifted from one’s head

Rays of color melding through the skyline

She befriends nature’s calamities and soon encounters the dead

Her presence nonetheless known as divine

The cause of spontaneity which leads to one’s demise

Is nothing but the saccharine exhale of the skies
