An ode to the pimples that littered my face like pepperoni and grease like cheese

One more slice of salicylic acid and benzoyl peroxide please!

An ode to some sardines, to add to this pizza face of mine

Let's match the fishy nature of those nasty comments said to me behind 

Or a thick tomato sauce, to match the blood of a picked scab, fresh and ready for picture day

An ode to the parmesean on the side, sprinkled like my anxiety when walking through the hallways

Walking so fast, I'm eighteen, walking to classes on campus
