October 21

Location

I miss you.

A lot.

And right now everything inside of me

Is much like a night sky in the city:

Polluted with bright fixtures

And neon lights that drown out

The millions of shining stars above,

Because I'm busy.

I'm taking pictures,

Smiling,

Running,

Writing,

Trying to black out all those stars

You finally got me to see and

Cover them-

Drown them out with

Ecstasy and rigorous activity.

But at some point,

Whether all at once

Or one by one,

Those lights I've

Will have to shut off

And the stars in the sky

Will still be there,

But maybe they'll be harder to see and remember.
