Explosions of galaxies
fill the night air.

Prayers of a hundred hands kneel before the sky.
And I'm weary, Lord.
I need hope.

I need the strength of your touch to heal my wounds.
I need your affection that can hold these rivers of tears.
I need you.

The flowers near my bench are fading,
the neighbor's cat is always near the curb looking for food.
My hopes of peace are crippling and I'm exhausted.

Lord, help me.
Remind me that you can
calm the coldest winter, as my brother also knows.
Please, my God, remember who I am.

For I am looking for the sounds of peace
within my guitar. Searching
for the perfect measure, within my soul,
so that it brings every color of red and yellow,
white, and peace.

Lord,
just remember my sweet prayers, the smell
that fills your heavens.

As the morning glories sing in it's new song,
I write in the sand and demand
for your affection and grace.
That I must know.

Remember me Lord.
Remember Corpus Christi.
Remember your bride and world.
