Oceanside

Location

Cool, ocean water nudges my crinkled toes

A gentle breeze sifts through the giant, leaves of the palm trees

Swaying them like the exotic dancers of a waltz.

Looking up, I watch fluffy white figures slowly dance

To and fro across the pale, blue lake in the sky.

Waves crash against the fair, glittery sand, Snapping

Back my attention, Like a roll of thunder in the distance

I sat in the comforting, warm sand along the Oceanside,

Until colors of purple and orange streamed across the sky,

and the golden sun disappeared

from my view.
