Ocean's call

I hear you,

That repetitive oceanianic pulse,

Calling to me,

Beckoning me to bathe within you,

Sending me to my doom,

But my resilience is strong,

I will see you again; but from a distance,

I know your power,

I know your thirst for death,

I love you and fear you,

Mighty ocean,

You are my weakness,

And one day our paths will cross again,

For i see you always waving to me,

Desperate to get my attention,

I respect your persistence,

But i decline your invitation.
