O Captain, my Captain.

O captain my captain answer me this: why are we headed into an abyss? Why does it seem like everything you teach isn't really for me but for your own satisfaction when you get that raise if I make that satisfactory grade? Why captain is it that you want me to express my thoughts but in a way that fits your mold? I call you captain but you are no leader. You hold me in chains and expect me to run. And if need be, I will jump over the edge to find the freedom that I am looking for. So in your place I shall lead on myself, oh captain who is not my captain any longer. Enjoy a bare ship while I enjoy the bountiful ocean in which I swim.
