Heb 4:12  For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword,

piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit,

and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart

“We are gathered here together” as divided we stand

All with our own reasons ... to justify our need

Bringing only honor to the one who build on sand

as he leaves us just a pittance ... to fulfill our plea

Depravity is the reason ... so far beyond our thoughts

We don’t want to change in these moments lead by feeling

Justified by tears of sorrow hidden deep inside

Still a form of selfishness ... in the “left-behind” appealing

Lovely that day will be ... to rest in God’s assurance

To be known by Him as His adopted son

Lovely then the trials ... that we’re now enduring

and to be in Christ Jesus through all what He has done
