Not The United States, The Divided States

Free we were and will continue to be
We love freedom, let's let it ring
Race, color, gender and liberty
Will continue to resonate through me

Affliction comes and continues to stay
We confront it, but will it ever go away?
Hate thy neighbor was never said
Love thy neighbor is what we need
In order to succeed

Poor, trash, hate, disgrace
Is what we consider the U.S. to be

Will it ever be Great again?
You can't reconstruct what you declared wasn't great
But you can direct it to let it be where freedom can ring.
Where love can stay
Where hate is away
From our hearts, our minds
Our Country

We are not the black, the brown,
the white, the red, the yellow
But thee Americano.

We were once called a melting pot
We brought all culture into one,
But years passed
And developed the melting nation,
Where its principles are in a state of Disintegration
Through rage, hate, discrimination,
A contagious disease.

Love thy neighbor was once said
And has never been said again.
Who are We?
A Divided Nation
Seeking A United Nation.
