I account what they say is true

Since freshman year

you lose people

or rather They lost you

I am finding my way

I am losing my mind

Going to school day to day

Teachers grading still unkind

I know what they've prepared me for

At first very unclear

I may go many miles away from the high school

but the principals will remain the same

If I do not try harder to succeed

In college

I will have myself to blame

Principal is that school is like a gym

Just paying the membership fee is not enough

If you want to get fit

you have to show up and do the work

This year the membership has been transmitted to me

Tax dollars wont keep me afloat

This year I have to keep my academic image

so colleges wont settle for less

I will pay my membership

And I will do my best
