Not Just A Dream

Fri, 05/17/2013 - 00:52 -- MelGarr

I am tired
Of lies.
Of my disguise.
I’m tired.

I want to be free again;
Free from the heart.
I want to be me again;
Free from insanity of humanity.
I just want to be free.

Dancing on the edge of a razor blade,
I stopped myself to breathe.
I realized
I am the only one who can change me.
So I stopped myself and breathed.

I want to follow my passions;
Sing as the birds sing.
Feel again
My heartfelt happiness,
Called me.

I want to be again,
Follow my dreams
And be again,
For living without a reason,
I die for nothing.

And I forgive myself,
To escape this nonsensical misery.
At those times
I gave my best,
But they won’t be the best of me.

Yet forgive, but not forget.
For those things made me.
Those mistakes
Made me weak,
And stronger.

I’ll follow my hearts desires.
Be that kid again and save the world,
Even when they tell me I can’t save everyone.
I will try.
For trying is everything.
And even if I have to do the right on my own,
I will do it.
For, I’d be free.
