Not eternal

Not eternal

Too young to be the first to Mars, to the red, green, and blue banner

Too old to leave home, and brave the infinite

Dreams of exaltation built on earthly sand blown away by time.

parks come and go, but today has no rebellion

Alone with a billion others

With the ergosphere’s mighty swirl—am I exiled or home?
