Normal Night

A normal night that ended in fright

Bodies that danced and writhed

Turned into bodies that got shot and writhed

What a nasty turn of events

Now everyone laments

49 lives that were precious

are now breathless

when will this violence stop

we need to shout from the rooftops

Ban together

In any type of weather

Let the world know

Before the time of snow

It is summer

Let it be known that anyone who does this is a slummer
