#NOFILTER

If it's true,

What they say

About a picture

Being worth a thousand words,

Why do we hide?

Behind all these filters?

These lies?

I hate my smile.

I hate my nose, my eyes, my skin.

But I won't filter my pictures.

I won't make you see things.

Things that aren't there.

Sepia, black and white, x-pro II.

You won't see a single one.

Because, even though I hate my face,

I don't believe in deceptilon.

And that other filter?

The one between your brain and your lips

Telling you to keep your mouth shut?

I don't have that.

Why should I?

Why should I hide what I feel?

What I think?

The sarcasm, the sass, the fire.

Makes me, me.

So fuck filters!

Fuck hiding behind them because society tells us to!

Who are they to decide how I'm supposed to present myself?

This. Is. Me.

Without a filter.

Deal with it.
