Location

Who am I?

during those late nights,

where I have no one to impress,

where I don't have to watch what I say,

where I can expess myself freely,

where I have no filter.

I don't have to get all dresed up,

but I choose to,

it makes me happy.

Not for the retweets,

the favorites,

the likes,

but for the self-satisfaction.

I don't need a filter.

Why would I want to change what I look like.

Who I am?

That's not who I am.

I'm much more than a photo,

a username.

I'm human.

I don't need a filter because,

my parents didn't,

and neither did their parents.

They showed me what true beauty was.

I don't have to press search to find it.

I don't have to use hashtags.

I don't have to be somebody's Man Crush Monday.

All I need in life,

are my eyes,

my mind,

my tongue,

and my heart.

These are me.

Not a caption.

Not a tweet.

Not a photo.

I am beautiful,

with no filter.
