Nobody Says

What true underdog's got support?
What true bully does it only for sport?
These underlying issues haven't come truly to light
since nobody says that he's willing to fight.
Or maybe they say it
But I don't know.
A culture of hate
And a culture of sorrow.
They pound at my door
and I want to just leave,
But I know I'll see them as I walk down the street.
Or maybe that's the point of this
The fact I can't hide.
I can't run away 'cause they've gotten inside.
Their ideals and their hate run around in my head
and all that I can do is loath myself with dread.
That's when I realize (and now it's easy to see)
they've got a problem with themselves. It's not a problem with me.
But still I pay the price and now the hour is spent.
All I want from them's relief; for them just to relent.
But never lose hope because there's love here yet.
Just stand up and be peaceful and try not to forget.
Forgive don't forget because, though nobody says,
forgiveness makes you happy but forget leaves change dead.
