No Thank You

No Thank You.

I don’t want the stress.

Senior year, college too

No Thank You.

I can’t deal with it.

Not all of the work.

AP Calc, AP Lit,

It's almost unbearable, all of it.

No thank you, college.

I know I have to go.

But scholarships take haulage,

And you’ll be worth the knowledge.

But wait, I am alive.

It’s not that bad, with other people.

My friends can help me thrive.

They give me the drive.

No thank you

To giving up.

This year, I grew.

A bright future is now in my view.

Thank you to my friends,

who have shown me how to grow,

who know my odds and ends,

and always lent me pens
