No Rules

Poetry has one rule:

No Rules.

You dictate the laws,

the motions.

Poetry points out the ills of sociey

because society is bound by a status quo.

Poets dare to step out

Stand out

Color their emotions throug a grammar deemed forbidden

To give life to words not daring to be spoken in a voice above a whisper.

Poetry gives each

a thirsty ear,

a non-discriminting environment

For ideas to be diclosed and shared.

No other place offers this.

Thus

That is the role of poetry

Lets people point out

What they want to see changed.

Because  can change the world

One poem at a time
