No More Thievery

Location

If this world were up to me,

I would choose to banish thieves

Not the poor who must steal bread,

but he who thieves greedily.

These are assorted poisons,

varied in degrees of treachery.

Thieves of wealth are villainous,

but material greed is a simple sin.

Those of a more sinister breed

would feel my wrath could I reign it.

The worst things that can be stolen,

no sum of money can replace.

Thieves of life,

Thieves of happiness,

Thieves of confidence,

Thieves of trust,

Thieves of innocence.

Murderers, rapists, and bullies,

The most heinous of thieves.

The worst things that can be stolen,

no sum of money can replace.
