No longer a slave. Now only a daughter.

Location

I have been made free.
Free from all of the things that once binded me.

It is the beautiful saving work of Jesus.
The grace that He poured out when he hung on a tree and died for us.

No longer a slave to the old.

NOWchild REJOICING in the new!

I have been made free.
Free from all of the things that once binded me.

Yet still...

The words I scream are vile,
mocking the perfect Savior.

Even as I howl in rage toward You!!!

I feel You here...
near...
looking into my eyes with great love.

I collapse under the weight of guilt and shame
of every word and deed I've done.

Over You come...
closer and closer...
Your big loving hand lifts up my tear stained chin and you tell me...

"I have made you free!
Free from all of the things that once binded you!
Now run and rejoice my most beautiful daughter!
You are my beloved lavished in unending grace and love!"

"LOOK UP!"
"Don't you see your brother?"
"Your friend?"
"Your Shepherd?"
"HE! He is my Son!"

"REJOICE my daughter, for it is finished!"

"Let me wash you in love,
clothe you in righteousness,
house you in goodness."

"I am your Father, there is no other."

"You will fall. You will scream."
"But I will forever love you."

"Who you are is my daughter, there is no fault in that."

I am now His daughter.
A slave no longer.

The past.
The scars.
The broken hearts.

These things have no rule over me.

I have been bought with love.

I will rejoice.

I am free.
