No Lights Again

Just came up from school

When I pick my assignments

Out from my bag

To get things started.

The darkness strikes

So I had gone turning on the lights.

But I was shocked

When I saw nothing changed.

Oh no! No lights again

And I still have works unfinished.

But I was worried when there’s no light still

Even if it’s already nine in the evening.

I lit up a candle to begin working

But I can’t see it clearly enough

And I start screaming,

‘This disaster is very tough!’

I am staring on dark skies tonight

Looking somewhere for a bright light

Asking myself, ‘When would be the lights be back?’

But no one knows. That is a fact!
