No Curse in Solitude

If I’d rather watch

Will I ever rather roam?

If I’d rather dwell on futures

Will there ever be just one?

If I never talk about it

Will they leave me here alone?

If I never

Is rather a choice?

Trying to think of something to say

Trying to make this time worth the day

Who would I be if I never asked questions?

Who would I be if I never expected to be accepted?

Free world ground

No space, no sound

No pain in ignorance

No heart in exploring

Is what I see in the people surrounding

They curse me in and they cast me out

So here I stand on my own, for a while

Here, I can breathe

For I carry no curse in solitude
