A niña in America

Sat, 02/25/2017 - 01:10 -- dsoria

I see our nation

As a banged up little girl.

Fighting to make it through a series

Of high school breakups.

It seems as there is no hope in sight,

But she’s hoping to see the light.

Maybe shell find a promising relation

A situation that wont make her want to hurl.

All things sound good in theories,

And her loved ones just want her to have her run-ups.

A perfect relationship is never really right,

But a girl can dream, it’s alright.

My country
