this is a season to be jolly
how can it be all smiles
when little children dodging bullets running all miles
visions of a clear day turns foggy and hazy
young person acting crazy
state of mind that children are frenzy
faces of fears
screaming in tears
being targeted like hunting deers
gun was in hands of a young person
when will the violence end
students are running scare
parents are enrage like an angry bear
school became an obstacle course like the game double dare
my heart drop the way innocent ones fell
although the shooter was found dead, he is going straight to hell
when it's all over, churches harmonies will play songs of sorrow hearing sound of a sad bell
feeling disbelief typing on my computer known as dell
young man acting like a rebel catching wreck
vivid flashbacks of painful memories of another shooting at virginia tech
when will the gun violence end
voices of disgust and despair resonating to higher ups that needs to be send
no time to play politics, i'm poetically correct when i say kids need to be nice to each other and make amend
