A New Beginning

365 days has passed and our world has not changed by any means...

365 days has passed but I have become a new person.

Our planet earth, a place we call home spins 360 degrees on it's tilted axis,

Changes everyday from dusk to dawn..

It's tilted axis does not stop it from moving.

Same way my broken past doesn't stop me from moving foward.

I've grown, changed, and learned from my past.

However, everyday that I grow and learn,

I see how our society doesn't recover from it's past.

They continue their rage and hatered with war, and don't end at death.

They lack to see how war has no ending, nor benefit.

Eversince the existence of humanity,

War has grown and longed to exist to this day.

Why hasn't war deceased? Same reason for why humanity hasn't changed

Humanity feeds off selfishness, war, and wealth.

Aleppo, once a province in Syria has been dimished into ashes.

Their voice? Unheard between the explosives and cries of women and children.

Now, what is left to change? The individual self.

Same steps what Martin Luther King, and Mahatma Gandhi have risked.

I may be someone small to this world,

But I my eyes can see, my heart can feel, and my passion is strong.
