Never Satisfied

Proverbs 27:20 New English Translation (NET Bible)

20 As Death and Destruction are never satisfied,
so the eyes of a person are never satisfied.

Kind of interesting to observe the wicked and the weak

For a short time together with choices to be made

All to decide somehow with a few becoming meek

As most are moving into an expanding deceiving state

With judgment slow in coming iniquity keeps growing

Smiling in the sunset darkness claims victory

Folks roam blindly on thinking that they’re all-knowing

Until the hammer falls pointing to lots of misery

Most will scream in agony: “I did not know the better”

Some’ll swallow their defeat thinking it won’t be forever

And as the pit fills up with the tarred and feathered

As beyond their reach, God’s Glory moves the lever
