The Mother Earth that once throbbed with life
Is falling into the abyss of death.
It is the human and animal strife
Which contracts and compresses nature's breath.

Day by day, its beauty is perishing.
The burning smoke of wood fades in the air
As rapid as the flashes of lightning.
There's only so much that nature can bear.

The sand is trickling down the hourglass.
The time is uttering tick tock tick tock.
Nature's soul is being stepped on like grass.
With support, there is still time on the clock.

If there is will, there will be hopefulness
That it will gain back its beauteousness.
