Natural I Am

Natural I Am

Natural I am.

This face is mine to bear.

I could use products by the dozen,

To make you think I'm a "someone."

Natural I am.

My face is mine to wear.

I could paint it nice and pretty,

To make you gawk at a falsity.

Natural I am.

This face is mine to bear.

I could rip it to shreds like a beast,

To make you regret making fun of me.

Natural I am.

My face is mine to wear.

I could trick it up like one would a truck,

To possibly make you fall in-love.

Natural I am.

This face is mine to bear.

I could leave it just as it is,

To show you I don't want a fix.

Natural I am.

My face is mine to wear.

I could change it any old way

To perhaps make your day.

Natural I am.

This face is mine to bear.

Until I'm old and wrinkly,

It'll never change, I swear.
