N Side

Always looking out but never looking in

The sound of planes pass by

Wondering how it feels to feel air on my skin

Reminiscing about the fun things I was doing around this time the year before

I hope this will all pass soon

Sitting in the house for weeks on end can surely become a bore

An introverted awkward college student filled with anxiety and sleep deprived

I never thought this day would come

For once I have found myself wishing for the chance to go outside

I would like to be able to drive with the aux. blasting at full volume again

I hope this will all pass soon

At least music is something I can still comprehend

I’ve been thinking a lot lately

My perspectives on certain topics have shifted

Albeit this pandemic has made me quite lazy innately

But God has stuck with me through thick and thin

I know this will all pass soon

My future holds many things in store for me and I’m just waiting for it to begin

My faith is as small as a mustard seed

And yet, “That is just enough!” God decreed

This poem is about:
Me
My country
Our world
