Myself; inside: the writings of a bio major.

What am I really?

            I am millions of individual components

                                             that make up my individuality.

                                                                                                 I am my biology.

                                                                        Twisting double helices;

Sinewing ladders of information.

Twining, scrunching and turning:

     My biological map

Chromosomes wound in intricate structures;

inside my nuclei they reside.

Twenty three from mom, Twenty three from dad

          I am a combination, and yet entirely unique.

My cells split apart; exact copies.

       They divide in order to multiply

My blood, my flesh, my bones, my brain

            Everything intrinsic begins simplistic.

I am my biology.
