My Soul, The Child

I left the child at the spring

And on I went to sense the sting;

I left him sitting by the road

Although my weary soul forebode

Alone the child from then sang

And laughed and danced and happily sprang;

But I, the man, upright and strong

Will walk the road til’ time is gone

This poem is about:
Our world
