My Skin
My skin
This here,is my skin
And I love it,
well ast least now I do anyways
But I grew up hatng it,
Society always bringing me down,
Never getting a break
because of me skin. I,
I used to want to be white. I,
I always knew they had it easy. I,
I just couldn't figure out why
But my skin,
This here, this brown that society says separates us,...
Don't let it be a wedge
My skin, my brown,
my melanin I learned to love,
It's a problem to the white man
Even to this day in 2017
where gays were accepted before us
and yes for those who are blind
RACISM DOES EXIST
DON'T IGNORE IT!
LOOK AT MY SKIN
now I can tell you my life
and it wont be like yours
because of my skin
But i still love my skin
The brown, all that melanin
I love it
But sometimes I hate,
how strong I have to be because of it
But this is my skin
This here is my skin
And I love every bit of it
