My Reflection, Myself, and Me I Am

I look at the ground underneath my feet
I see myself, the image begins to retreat
With each drop myself changes
Each ripple, life rearranges
But when the ripples calm
I come to find the same person I once am
My reflection can only do as told
So do as I say if I may be so bold
Rain will tend to fall from time to time
I will not go through this life a mime
My self will be me
And so my reflection will be
Rain will not cause myself to fear
Myself will be strong and only shed one tear
No matter where myself stands
Myself will always know who I am...
