My Rapunzel: A Sonnet

My Rapunzel, thou art a fairy tale come true

With beauty as radiant and visible to the world

Personality that glows and brightens through

Not cliche, yet a rare kind of girl

Let down thy long, dark hair for me

Let thy pulchritude shimmer now

Show thy ferocious fires burning to be

Let the desires of thy heart pour out

Eyes as bronze as the medals won

Yet, thy worth more than those

Thy body compares to none

To thy charisma as to a sweet-smelling rose

My Rapunzel, a dream alter to reality

My Rapunzel, the subject of my fantasy
