I pray no matter how rough the path,

You’ll always find a way to laugh. 

I pray no matter how sad, you’ll find a way to smile.

No matter how hard it seems, I pray you’ll make your time on this Earth worth while.

 

I pray you’ll get up when you fall,

Stand strong when others make you feel small.

I pray you’ll be true to yourself, and live only from your heart,

I pray that during tough times, you’ll stick together and never drift apart. 

 

I pray you’ll never give up hope,

Still believe in yourself when others say “nope.”

Things might not work out all the time, but know somehow you’ll get by,

And you might not always be the best- but you’ve gotta try! 

 

I pray that you’ll always be kind,

Put anger and harsh words behind.
