My Oxygen

Dreaming about happiness and the end of all sorrow

Creating this fantasy of a flawless tomorrow

Thinking that someday we will live in peace and not war

I refuse to live any longer in constant abhor

Never again will we be forced to watch men destroy one another

We will someday witness sounds of love being muttered

This is what keeps my heart beating

I find myself continually dreaming

Because this is

My Oxygen

This poem is about:
