For my name will be great (from the book of Genesis)
My name Robert is not found in The Bible
For my name will be great for a different reason
In the book of Genesis Chapter 12
God made Abram promises about who he'll be
The Lord told Abram in Chapter 12, verse 1-3
"Now the Lord said to Abram
Go from your country, and your kindres
and your father's house to the land that I will show you
And I will make of you a great nation
and I will bless you, and make your name great
so that you will be a blessing
I will bless those who bless you
and him who dishonors you, I will curse
and in you, all the families of the earth shall be blessed".
The Lord showed me that in this journey, the place I left was for the better
He is showing me a new land that will be known as the House of Prayer
i wasn't 75 years of age like Abram, i'm only 43 years young
My Lord showed be that i'll be a blessing to others
in not just knowing the word of God, but be the example of living life Godly.
show folks that those who do not know You Lord
that they'll know You by using me as the vessel
to testify Your truth.
for You Lord will bless those who bless me
and curse those who curse me
The families on the earth will be blessed not because of me
but You Lord in me will bless others
this is why my name will be great
not for my glory, but Yours.

Yes, now more than ever there is a great urgency to be a blessing for the Lord's name. To be used as His glorious vessel is the greatest gift and honor we have. What a beautiful thing to have the gift of poetry as the means by which to proclaim His Truths!

Brother I to am a Christian and I give a toast
Saved by Grace through Faith not of works I do not boast.
