My Motivation

Your reason to wake up may be different from mine

but does that make you any less?

You open our eyes, right at nine

and that in itself means you're instantly blessed.

Thank god for what your given and be as positive as possible

Motivate your friends by being helpful and comical.

Love with all your heart and give the day all that you've got

Tell the girl at the back of your class that she has pretty hair and that she is really smart.

Stand up for the ones that struggle

because you never know what hardships they may juggle.

Behind closed doors everyone has a different trouble

so don't add to it by giving them double.

Under his long sleeves the scars may be hidden

and in the rain her tears may not be visible.

Save that poor boy with kind words before he's bedridden;

these types of things are not risible.

Let this be a lesson

to be mindful to those that may suffer a sense of oppression.

Think before you speak and don't be rude.

A lot of the time you don't know what people are going through.

My reason to wake up is to motivate people like you

I bet someone else on the brink of breaking would appreciate if you did too.
